Dear fellow citizens and guests of the town of Balchik, on this day 82 years ago the town of Balchik was returned to the borders of Bulgaria. This is the day of our liberation from Romanian occupation. The agreement of September 7, 1940 signed in Craiova embodies the aspirations of the Dobrudja people for the return of Southern Dobrudja to the borders of the Motherland. This treaty is a remarkable achievement of Bulgarian diplomacy.
